Short description:

A foam tender APT 8.0 -100 is mounted on a modern four wheel chassis Ural-Next 5557-72.
It is designed for fire extinguishing at oil production, storage and refining facilities.
Thanks to air foam generation, this firefighting vehicle is able to extinguish fires caused by inflammable substances.
In case of emergency delivers the crew of three-man firefighting equipment and foaming agents; delivers water from an open reservoir or a hydrant, as well as delivers a hotbed of air foam from a foam tank or an externall reservoir.
The foam tender is perfectly suitable for urban areas, as air foam does not drain from the upper floors, effectively preventing the spread of fire.
This feature accounts for its economy and comparatively low consumption of air foam.
The vehicle can be used as an independent unit, as well as in collaboration with other fvehicles.

Description:

A foam tender has been first designed on chassis URAL NEXT.
The APT -100 8.0 is designed to be used in frigid climate.
Manufacturers of fire engines agree that the use of fire fighting equipment in this climate involves working with a high content of salt in water.
That is why we installed a powerful pump ESTERI LK-6000 A, in whose body and impeller are made from corrosion resistant bronze cannon.
The pump is characterized by high reliability in operation, requires no maintenance and delivers water or water and foam with a capacity up to 100 liters per second.
Foam tenders are indispensable at oil and gas facilities, as well as other fires, caused by easily flammable substances.
The APT can operate both together with the main fire units, or independently.
Working independently, the vehicle has a capacity of 8000 litres of water and 500 litres of foam.
Another feature of the pump- a foam dispenser which allows to adjust foaming agent.
The vehicle can be controlled both from the cabin and the rear part(the pump compartment).
There are an intercom and a mobile radio to communicate rfectively with the cabin .
The vehicle seats up to 3 people, 2 crew seats equipped with breathing apparatus brackets.
The vehicle is equipped with a Manual-control monitor and a nozzle.
The firefighting equipment is located in side compartments equipped with roller shutters.

The chassis URAL NEXT is selected due to its practicability (6 x 6 wheelbase), and its ability to cope with tasks.
