The aerial platform AKP 28, nounted on a chassis KAMAZ 5350 with the drive wheel configuration 6x6, is essential when fighting fires in tanks with oil and oil products: it helps to supply water and air foam of different expansion.

The advantages of this model: 
  • The AKP 28 is equipped with a set of four medium expansion foam generators GPS - 600 (GOST R 50409-92), which are conveniently and securely mounted in a cage of the the aerial platform with the help of special fasteners.
  • Highly durable steel,from which the boom is made, ensures the reliability and rigidity of the structure. When welding the boom sections the most modern technologies were used , ensuring high quality of welds

The aerial platform AKP 28, nounted on a chassis KAMAZ 5350 with the drive wheel configuration 6x6, is essential when fighting fires in tanks with oil and oil products: it helps to supply water and air foam of different expansion.

The AKP 28 helps to increase the efficiency of fire fighters' when high-rise buildings are concerned. It allows to supply air foam to a hight up to 28 m. Another function of the aerial platform is to deliver the crew and the necessary firefighting equipment to the fire site.

The vehicle can be used for cooling various technological units and supplying water at height to create protective sсreens in areas of accidents, catastrophes, natural disasters.

The aerial platform is equipped with several devices which ensure the safety of its use, including:

- Cage orientation system in a vertical position;

- Supports blocking system at operating boom position;

- Emergency cage lowering system;

- Unintentional outriggers extension protective system;

- Platform declination angle indicator;

- Emergency engine shutdown system activated via remote control on the rotative frame and from the cage- maximum load limiter.
