A water tender AC-7,0-40 is a fire tanker on an all-wheeled chassis KamAZ-43118 (6х6), with a pump NCPN-40/100 that has a capacity of 40 l/sec and an enlarged foam tank.
The foam tank capacity is 3 cubic meters, the water tank capacity is a little bigger - 4 cubic meters.

The advantages of this model:

A modular fire superstructure is manufactured based on a UNIMOD technology; it consists of separate functional modules standardized for various fire superstructure configurations.
Thanks to this technology, the vehicle is highly maintainable, ergonomic and simple at use and maintenance.
A crew cabin of the vehicle has a capacity to seat four men.
As a result, the vehicle can deliver a team of seven crew members to the fire site.
The firefighting vehicle is equipped with the water tank that has a capacity of 4 cubic meters and the foam tank made of stainless steel that has a capacity of 3000 liters.
High-quality materials and anti-corrosion coating of the fire-extinguishing agent tanks ensure their high wear resistance.
The compartments for firefighting equipment and emergency rescue tools are featured with firm structure based on a reinforced metal frame.
The firefighting equipment is secured in the compartments with special mounts based on polyurethane elastomers.
Reliable contemporary roller shutters ensure the firefighting equipment and additional equipment safety and intactness during its storage and transportation.
Functionality of the roller shutters significantly increases efficiency of the firefighters at compartment opening and closing.
The siingle-modular system for compact arrangement and secure fixation of the canisters for transportation and storage suction hoses is located on the top of the fire superstructure.
In the rear compartment of the water tender there is a centrifugal fire pump NCPN-40/100 that has a capacity of 40 liters per second.

Description:

The water tender AC 7.0-40 is a fire truck on all-wheel drive chassis KAMAZ-43118 (6x6), with a pump NCPN-40/100 with a capacity of 40 l/s, and an increased volume of the a foam tank. The capacity of this vehicle's foam tank is 3 m3, a water tank is a little bigger - 4 m3. This vehicle is particularly effective when it comes to continuous fire extinguishing with air foam.
This method is applicable if we refer to burning oil and other substances that are difficult to extinguish. Air foam is able to block the access of oxygen, forming an insulating crust, and thereby preventing the fire spread. In addition, the air foam does not drain, which represents one more advantage of using it.
This fire truck requires a natural or an artificial source of water to operate effectively.
If water is supplied continuously to the water tanker, the available volume of foam is more than enough for 20 minutes of effective fire extinguishing.
In addition, when it comes to fires of low complexity that do not require any "special approach", the vehicle can be used as an ordinary water tender: the water tank has a volume of 4 m3.
