Short description:

A water tender AC-9,0-40 on a chassis KamAZ-43118 is designed for fire extinguishing and rescue works.
Serves to deliver to the fire personnel in the amount of 3 people, fire extinguishing (water, foam), fire-technical equipment and rescue tool.

The advantages of this model:

A modular fire superstructure consists of separate functional blocks - modules, connected into a single structure.
Such a structure is the result of application of UNIMOD technology that is used for designing and assembling of the firefighitng vehicles in the Factory of Firefighting Vehicles "Unimod".
A water tank that has a capacity of nine cubic meters is made of high-quality carbon steel with anti-corrosion coating.
A foam tank is made of stainless steel that assures its lasting expected life.
Compartments for firefighting equipment as well as a pump compartment are featured with a reinforced structure based on a metal frame.
Thanks to that as well as due to multi-element fixation system, firefighting equipment and emergency rescue tools have compact, reliable and ergonomic fixation.
The firefighting equipment compartments are equipped with flap doors that ensure the firefighting equipment and emergency rescue tool safety during the transportation.
Firefighting equipment located on the top of the fire superstructure of AC 9,0-40 is also simple at transportation, mounting and dismantling.
It is ensured with a special fixation that is equipped with a single-module system designed by the specialists of our factory.
In the rear compartment of the water tender there is a centrifugal fire pump NCPN-40/100 that has a capacity of 40 liters per second.
Reliable and convenient ladders located in the rear of the vehicle guarantee safe access to the top of the fire superstructure and ensure simple and efficient exploitation of suction hoses and other firefighting equipment.
Modular superstructure blocks are flexibly but reliably fixed to the chassis of the vehicle thanks to spring-damper mechanism.
Such a structure decreases the bodywork superstructure stress caused by the chassis deformation during the vehicle movement.

Description:

If a fire is expanded, the AC 9.0 -40 immediately can apply water or foam from a fixed monitor, thus preventing the spread of fire, and then can be installed on a water source. The water tender is equipped with a centrifugal fire pump NCPN-40/100 mounted in the rear compartment of the fire superstructure.
