Short description:

A foam tender APT-5,0-70 on a base chassis KamAZ-43253 (4х2) is designed for fire extinguishing with air foam in the oil and gas production, processing and storage areas as well as in other industrial facilities.

The advantages of this model:

The APT 5.0 -70 was designed and manufactured for one of the large refineries.
The vehicle is used for complex fire extinguishing with air foam.
The vehicle is featured with a non-standard arrangement of the compartments for firefighting equipment: they are fixed along the periphery of the tank.
There is a total of twelve compartments.
The inside of the compartments is covered with aluminum that increases the structure wear resistance and durability due to its anti-corrosion features.
All the compartments have reliable heat insulation: foam heat insulating interlayer. Together with a special self-contained heater it prevents the water or foaming agent freezing even in case of operation at low temperatures.
A crew cabin is also featured with northern configuration.
It is heat insulated with a special interlayer that saves the heat inside of the cabin for a long time.
Thanks to a multi-element fixation system for the firefighting equipment «Multimount» based on the polyurethane elastomers, the firefighting equipment has compact and reliable arrangement in the compartments.
The vehicle is fitted with a pneumatic foot-rest, steps which automatically recline, reacting to opening the doors of a crew cabin.
The vehicle is equipped with a normal pressure centrifugal fire pump NCPN 70-100 with a capacity of up to 70 l/sec. The pump piping allows to use the vehicle no only as a foam tender but also as a conventional tanker.
The foam tender APT-5,0-40 is an efficient and reliable firefighting vehicle.
T is widely used for complex fire extinguishing that can be liquidated with simple water.
The burning of oil, gas, grease, different kinds of petrol is much easier to stop with foam that efficiently blocks the oxygen access forming an insulating cover and preventing the spread of fire.
