AKP-60 for Kenya

A significant event took place in Kenya. After winning the tender, we started to develop a fundamentally new vehicle AKP-60. Some more information about its features and the future of firefighting vehicles.

The AKP-60 is a promising model of a hydraulic platform with a ladder mounted on chassis Mercedes Benz. It is an enhanced version of the vehicle. The set consists of a three-section telescope, a hinge boom, a lower boom.

The AKP -60 can be used both in urban areas and in the countryside, and has the following purposes:

• Delivery of the personnel consisting of 3 people and of the required fire-fighting equipment to the fire site;
• A hydraulic platform, combined fire fighting units;
• The fixed monitor and the hydraulic platform can be remotely controlled at a distance of no more than 50 m;
• Boom rotation angle is 45 degrees to different directions.

It has multiple functions and can adjust to different operating conditions (from -40 up to 40 degrees Celsius and wind speed not more than 10 m/s at a height of 10 m) makes this vehicle indispensable for fire fighting. We hope that this vehicle will become a model among its analogues.
