Fire truck APT-8.0-100 for Zarubezhneft

Our plant has once again outperformed other Russian enterprises in terms of flexibility and professionalism. We produced and sent a unique fire truck APT-8.0-100 on the chassis KAMAZ-43118 on the order of  Zarubezhneft JSC. Below you can see more detailed information concerning its features and techmical characteristics.

The technical features of this foam tender APT-8.0-100 are almost the same compared to the standard model. The key difference is that a standard metal bodywork was replaced with a fully plastic one.

This was done at the request of the customer in order to:

• Reduce the vehicle's weight resulting in greater speed and practicability on rough terrain and off-road conditions. This is crucial in order to ensure safety of assets and staff, since the customer is involved in projects in diverse places (Algeria, Vietnam, India, Iraq and others). A rapid response and delivery of the fire brigade and equipment to the scene  helps to implement timely measures to eliminate and localize fires.
• The metal bodywork is subjected to gradual corrosion damage because of its constant contact with water and foam which reduces the life of the vehicle. Therefore, by eliminating this problem, we were able to extend its useful life up to 50 years! Of course, to achieve this you should follow the rules of operation of the vehicle and pass a periodic technical inspection.

It should be noted that our plant pioneered in using such a technology  and that is why this fire truck is unique in Russia. There are no such companies who would have manufactured such vehicles from scratch, which makes us leaders in this specialized field of fire engineering.
