Our firefighting units were involved in extinguishing the fire at the warehouse of paint and varnish materials

On 6 November the warehouse of paint and varnish materials caught fire in the Volgograd region as a result of which one person was died. Thanks to the firefighting equipment they managed to avoid a large number of victims and put out the fire. It is important to note that the fire of premises containing flammable materials can cause extremely hazardous fires. Fire poles formed in the result of fire do not go out with time, but become only larger. The temperature near the hot spot reaches 80-90 degrees Celsius or even more. In addition, the smoke is also poisonous. All this contributes to a large-scale fire which without proper suppression can keep burning for several days, poisoning the surrounding areas.

18 units of equipment, and more than 50crew members took part in fire extinguishing. By the way, most of the fire trucks were of our production, which once again proved that we produce equipment of high quality, able to work even in the most difficult conditions. They used trucks on the basis "KAMAZ-43118" - AC-8.0 and AC-6.0. Turntable ladders PP-40 on the basis "KAMAZ-65224" were used to localize the fire.

The equipment and the personnel demonstrated excellent coordinated performance. In a short time, the fire was localized and extinguished, which saved residents of nearby areas from carbon monoxide poisoning, as well as prevented more people from being affected.
