Our vehicle ANR-133-3400 helped to suppress the fire

Vehicles ANR-133-3400 helped to suppress the fire of a national scale - as the Minister of Civil Defense Vladimir Puchkov called the incident in Rostov-on-Don.

On August 21, 2017 the fire covered the central area of Rostov-on-don. Specialists from the Ministries for Emergency Situations urgently evacuated about 600 people. The area of fire was 10 000 square meters.

More than 200 units of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. To cope with the fire, rescuers resorted to the help of an airlifter Il-76, 7 helicopters and a fire boat. It took 915 000 liters of water to put out the hot spots. They mostly used pumping hose units ANR-133-3400 on the chassis KAMAZ 43118. They are highly maneuverable, which is especially important in densely built-up areas - the fire raged in the private sector. Machine ANR-133-3400 operated close to the fire which was possible due to 4-inch insulation as well as at a distance, the hoses were up to 3400 meters long. All the technical parts of the vehicle well illuminated, so fire brigades were able to connect the equipment quickly although they extinguished the fire at night.

They managed to contain the fire by the morning of August 22. The governor Vasily Golubev reported on the causes of the fire, noting that the fire originated in the abandoned emergency houses on Nizhegorodskaya Street. The regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that the fire affected 100 buildings, 80 of which are dwelling houses.

Arriving at the scene, the Minister of Emergency Situations ordered to provide qualified assistance to the victims and pay compensation in the amount of 20 thousand rubles.
