Short description:

A turntable ladder AL-30 on Ural 4320-60 chassis is designed for the delivery of the firefighting crew and all the necessary firefighting equipment to the area of rescue, fire prevention and emergency recovery works as well as for their lifting up to 30 meters high.

The advantages of this model:

This turntable ladder AL-30 is equipped with a double cabin for six crew members including a driver.
There is a high pressure fire pump NCPN 40/100 with a capacity of up to 40 liters per second in the cabin between the two rows of seats.
There is a small 300-liter foam tank on the bodywork platform.
The AL-30 is equipped with front fog-lights and spotlights in the front and rear parts of the vehicle.
The tank fixation to the chassis frame is based on elastic damping elements that decrease the tank stress caused by the frame torsion.

Description:

The turntable ladder AL-30 (Ural-4320-60) is designed for the following purposes:

- Delivery of the firefighting crew and all the necessary firefighting equipment to the area of rescue, fire prevention and emergency recovery works;

- Lifting of the firefighting crew and the firefighting equipment up to 30 meters high;

- Ensuring of efficient rescue, emergency recovery works and fire extinguishing at height;

- People evacuation with the flight of stairs or with elastic rescue hose from up to 30-meter height;

- Fire-extinguishing agent delivery from the top of the ladder;

- Usage as a lifting crane when the ladder sections are retracted.

There is a small 300-liter foam tank on the bodywork platform. The foam tank, the piping and the fittings of the foaming agent suction and delivery system are made of stainless steel. The foam tank structure is reinforced with inner partitions that also play the role of wave absorbers.

The fire ladder is composed of three telescopic sections and is made of carbon steel. It also can be equipped with a fixed cage for 2 crew members. The ladder rotation angle is 360 degrees to the left and to the right. The vertical angle range of the ladder can vary from - 7 to + 75 degrees in respect to the horizon. The stability of the ladder during its operation is ensured with reliable outriggers.

The turntable ladder AL-30 is mounted on the all-wheeled long wheelbase chassis Ural 4320-60. Thanks to a 6х6 drive wheel configuration, the vehicle has excellent off-road characteristics.
