Short description: 

A turntable ladder ACL-3,0-40/18 is mounted on an all-wheeled chassis KamAZ-43118 with 6х6 drive wheel configuration.
The ladder height is 18 m
There is a fire pump NCPN-40/100.

The advantages of this model: 
  • High-rise fire fighting equipment refers to the complex technology, due to the large quantity of electrical and hydraulic equipment, which powers the entire turntable ladder.
  • This model, is high functional, small and performs task quickly. The 18 meter ladder with maximum lifting angle fully unfolds for 30 seconds. The angle of rotation is 180 degrees.
  • When the ladder is lifted 10 degrees the rotation angle increases up to 360.
  • Thereby the vehicle can easily and quickly access the fire site and also be used while saving lives at height
  • Its workload is 260 kg and the ladder can be used as a crane for lifting weight up to 1000 kg.
  • Therefore, we have decided to move the turn base of the ladder to the rear compartment and use reinforced construction of rotary supports, as well as the chassis with increased load and wheel drive 6х6.
  • The ladder is controlled via a control panel, which is located on a lifting and turning mechanism.
  • Supports and their pull-out bring into action the levers located at the rear bottom part of the vehicle.
  • The main control panel, the tank inspection manhole cab be accessed through transformable ladders.
  • The ACL is highly manoeuvrable and has compact arrangement due to the tank, the foaming agent and the pump compartment which are located in the front and the middle part of the vehicle.
  • Thanks to this arrangement, the ladder easily fits into the superstructure.
  • Water and water and foam mixtures is delivered from the tanks with a capacity of 3000 litres  and foaming agent with a capacity of 300 l with a pump is possible at-40 degrees Celsius.
  • All compartments are heated with  self-contained heaters.
  • The pump NCPN 40/100 can be controlled by from the driver's cabin   The cabin crew consists of 3 men .
  • The machine can operate as an independent unit, and together with other fire equipment.
