Short description: 

A command and control vehicle (KShM) with special communication system is mounted on an all-wheeled long wheelbase chassis Ural-4320-60.
The vehicle is designed for the special fast response team transportation, ensuring of a stable satellite communication  for the mobile command unit as well as for guaranteeing operation,  accommodation and sanitary conditions for the crew during the  transportation.
It is equipped with a developable satellite communication system located in the rear part of the bodywork top.

The advantages of this model: 
  • The inner surface of the bodywork walls is covered with three-four millimeter MDF imitating expensive species of wood.
  • The top is covered with white analogous materials.
  • The compartments have independent entrances with single-wing doors.
  • The entrance modules are equipped with parallelogram telescopic ladders featured with anti-skid steps.
  • The ladders are put away in the special niches under the entrance modules in the transport mode.
  • The box-bodywork is featured with an outer reinforced frame and roll-formed profile metal sandwich panels connected into a firm system.
  • The rear part of the bodywork is equipped with a special niche for the fixation of the folding antenna for the satellite communication system.
  • The all-wheeled chassis Ural 4320-60 with 6х6 drive wheel configuration guarantees excellent all-terrain capabilities of the vehicle.

Description: 

The bodywork of this command vehicle has two function compartments:

  1. 1.    Sleeping compartment: an office for operational work of specialists, meetings, etc.
  2. 2.    Sleeping compartment: designed for simultaneous rest of 4 people, storing personal belongings, watching TV, eating.

The satellite communications system  is operated automatically:

  • - lifting the antenna from the transport position to the working position;
  • - making calculations and adjustments, compensating the deviation of the antenna from the horizontal position (for example, in a situation where the vehicle is on a hillside or on an uneven terrain);
  • - calculating the direction to the  repeater satellite in accordance with the data obtained from the equipment tracking the position of the station;
  • - directing antenna  to the repeater satellite by software navigation in a space segment  specified by the operator;
  • -  performance monitoring and self-diagnosis.
