Short description:

A water tender AC-1,0-40 on a chassis GAZ-3308 is designed for fire extinguishing and rescue works in small towns and settlements. This compact water tender is used for personnel, fire-extinguishing agent (water, foaming agent), firefighting equipment, and small number of emergency rescue tool transportation to the emergency site.

A centrifugal fire pump NCPN-40/100 located in the rear compartment of the vehicle has a capacity of up to 40 l/sec.
Spring-damper fixation of the firefighting superstructure ensures the flexibility and maneuverability of the vehicle. Such solution decreases mechanical stress of the bodywork superstructure caused by chassis deformity during the vehicle movement.

This small-sized vehicle is used to transport personnel, fire-extinguishing agents (water, foam), firefighting equipment and a limited number of emergency rescue tools to the emergency site.
They are used to supply water or air foam from a tank or from a water source (a hydrant, a river, a lake, etc.).
The volume of the water tank is 1 cubic meter, and the foam tank made of wear - resistant stainless steel has a capacity of 0.1 cubic meters.
