Short description: 

A water tender AC-4,0-40 on a chassis KamAZ-4308  (4х2) is designed for personnel, primary water amount and foaming agent  transportation to the fire site as well as for fire extinguishing with  water from the tank, a pond or a hydrant.
This water tender is suitable for work in urban areas and extinguishing fires of medium complexity.
The vehicle is also used for firefighting equipment and emergency rescue tool transportation to the fire site.

The advantages of this model: 
  • A modular fire superstructure consists of functional blocks-modules, connected in accordance with a UNIMOD technology.
  • This technology provides good vehicle operation characteristics:
  • maintainability, universality and ergonomics.
  • The water tender is equipped with an additional crew cabin module.
  • Due to this crew cabin the vehicle has a capacity to deliver seven crew members to the fire site.  
  • The vehicle is equipped with a water tank with four cubic meter capacity and 240 liter capacity foam tank.
  • The water tank is made of carbon steel with corrosion resistant coating, and the foam tank is made of stainless steel, thus, it is firm and wear resistant.
  • Compartments for firefighting equipment as well as a pump compartment are featured with a reinforced structure based on a metal frame.
  • A firefighting equipment fixation system Multimount for  the firefighting equipment arrangement and fixation ensures its safety  during storage as well as during transportation.
  • The firefighting equipment compartments are equipped with flap doors that ensure the firefighting equipment and emergency rescue tool safety during the transportation.
  • The firefighting equipment on the top of the fire superstructure, specifically, fire hose cases, is mounted in accordance with a single-module fixation system.
  • A centrifugal fire pump NCPN-40/100 located in the rear compartment of the tanker has a capacity of up to 40 liters per second.
  • The fire superstructure is reliably fixed to the  chassis with a spring-damper mechanism.
  •  It ensures the necessary  flexibility of the fire superstructure and decreases efficiently the  bodywork stress from the deforming chassis during the vehicle movement.
