Short description: 

A medium-capacity water tender AC 4,0-40 on a chassis KamAZ 43114 with 6х6 drive wheel configuration is designed for fire extinguishing as well as for delivery of firefighting equipment, emergency rescue tools and firefighting crew consisting of seven men to the emergency site.
Due to chassis excellent off-road characteristics, the vehicle is efficient in towns and rural ares as well as in off-road conditions.
The all-wheeled chassis allows for vehicle movement on the rural roads and in the forest.

The advantages of this model: 
  • A modular fire superstructure consists of separate functional blocks - modules, connected into a single structure.
  • Such a structure is the result of application of UNIMOD technology that is used for designing and assembling of the firefighitng vehicles in the Factory of Firefighting Vehicles "Unimod".  
  • The water tender is equipped with a crew cabin.  
  • Thanks to the cabin, the vehicle has a capacity to seat up to seven men.
  • A water tank with a capacity of four cubic meters is made of high-quality carbon steel with anti-corrosion coating.
  • A foam tank is made of stainless steel that assures its lasting expected life.
  • Compartments for firefighting equipment as well as a pump compartment are featured with a reinforced structure based on a metal frame.
  • Due to such a structure and due to applied  multi-unit firefighting equipment fixation system the firefighting equipment and additional equipment has a compact, reliable and ergonomic fixation.
  • The firefighting equipment compartments are featured with flap doors that ensure emergency rescue tool safety during transportation.
  • Firefighting equipment located on the top of the fire superstructure of AC 9,0-40 is also simple at transportation, mounting and dismantling.
  • It is ensured with a special fixation that is equipped with a single-module system designed by the specialists of our factory.
  • In the rear compartment of the water tender there is a centrifugal fire pump NCPN-40/100 that has a capacity of 40 liters per second.
  • Reliable and convenient ladders located in the rear of the vehicle guarantee safe access to the top of the fire superstructure and ensure simple and efficient exploitation of suction hoses and other firefighting equipment.
  • Modular superstructure blocks are flexibly but reliably fixed to the chassis of the vehicle thanks to spring-damper mechanism.
  • Such a structure decreases the bodywork superstructure stress caused by the chassis deformation during the vehicle movement.
