Specifications
Short description:

A water tender AC-5,0-100 on chassis Iveco-AMT Trakker AT 380T42WH is designed for delivery of fire-extinguishing agents (water and foam), firefighting equipment, emergency rescue tools as well as six crew members to the fire site.

The advantages of this model:
  • Driver and crew cabin consists of two modules connected between each other.  The modules are tightly fixed among each other with strong retainers. anks to the crew cabin the vehicle can seat six men of personnel.
  • The double cabin has a whole range of advantages among which there is audio contact during the work process that ensures more co-ordinated and prompt reaction of the crew.
  • The cabin is equipped with individual seats ensuring the maximum comfort during the vehicle movement.  Each seat is featured with an integrated breathing apparatus.
  • Moreover, there is a convenient podium for compact arrangement of additional breathing apparatus in the cabin.
  • The cabin itself is heat insulated and is equipped with special protective seals ensuring dust, moist and noise insulation. The windows are sliding .
  • The crew cabin module is made of multi-layered composite with heat-insulating foam interlayer.
  • As a result, the vehicle is kept warm for a long time and can be successfully used even in northern regions.
  • Comfort of the crew in the cabin is ensured with an air heater that supports normal temperature  in the cabin during cold seasons.  Furthermore, the vehicle is featured with an exclusive pneumatic bottom steps design by the specialists of Pozhavto. The steps are folded down automatically when the door is opened.
  • Fire truck is equipped with water tanks with a capacity of 5 cubic meters.
  • This module is made of multi-layered composite that is highly light, durable, wear resistant and not prone to corrosion.
  • Additional strength of the structure and slosh damping is ensured with folded side walls of the tank.
  • The use of plastics has significantly improved design and structure of the tank.
  • The water tender is featured with a special enhanced heat-insulation system of the water tank.
  • The main heating functions are performed by a fluid heater that does not depend on external power supply.
  • It heats the water up to the required temperature.
  • However the long-term heat preservation and maintenance is ensured by a heat-insulating sandwich interlayer of the tank that does not allow fire-extinguishing agents to cool down.
  • Thanks to continuous heating of the water in the tank, the vehicle can be used at very low temperatures.
  • The vehicle is equipped with a plastic foam tank that has a capacity of 300 liters,  and is highly corrosion-resistant.
  • The use of plastics allows for intense exploitation of the tank constantly proving its excellent wear resistance.
  • The foam tank is built in the water tank, thus, the air foam can be delivered instantly when needed.
  • AC-5.0-100 is equipped with a high-capacity British normal-pressure centrifugal pump  Godiva Prima that has a capacity of 100 lps.
  • The Godiva Prima is a single stage centrifugal pump.
  • A  modular low-pressure delivery piping ensures configuration  maneuverability.
  • A suction hose has three possible points of connection of the pump to a reservoir, and an integrated manifold increases the pump efficiency.
  • Rigid pump material  guarantees its wear resistance and reliability.
  • The pump ergonomics ensures simple maintenance and control as well as decreases costs during the pump expected life.
  • The vehicle is equipped with a fixed monitor  located on the top of the vehicle and having a capacity of 70 lps.
  • The fire superstructure modules are made of multi-layered composite and secured on the chassis with spring-damper fixation.
  • Compartments for firefighting equipment are featured with reinforced structure based on a reliable metal frame covered with aluminum.
  •  The firefighting equipment and emergency rescue tools are secured in the compartments of the fire superstructure in accordance with a Multimount system that ensures their optimal arrangement as well as safe transportation of all of the equipment.
  • With this system all the required firefighting equipment and emergency  rescue tools are fixed compactly, simply and reliably in side  compartments via special customized retainers based on polyurethane elastomers.
  • A piece of equipment can be released in two steps.
  • The retainers are flexible, light, reliable and not prone to corrosion.
  • The firefighting equipment compartments are featured with roller shutters equipped with drum coiling system that ensures safety of the firefighting equipment and emergency rescue tools during transportation. Contemporary roller shutters are simple at work.
  • Thanks to their functionality, the work of the firefighters is significantly accelerated at opening and closing of the compartments.
  • There is an important detail:
  • The operating area and the firefighting equipment compartments are well-lighted; and the compartment door position can be controlled from the cabin.
  • To do this there is a good lighting system, as well as a special indication signalling when the compartments are open .
  • The vehicle is designed and assembled in accordance with a universal modular technology UNIMOD that was developed by the specialists of Pozhavto factory and is used for design and assembly of the firefighting vehicles.
  • The primary feature of the technology is the fire bodywork structure: it consists of functional blocks - modules connected between each other into a single structure thanks to their standardized connection dimensions.
  • The main advantages of using the technology: high maintainability, universality, ergonomics, structure flexibility, maneuverability and exploitation simplicity.

Description:

A water tender AC-5.0-100 on chassis Iveco-AMT Trakker AT 380T42WH is designed for delivery of fire-extinguishing agents (water and foam), firefighting equipment, emergency rescue tools as well as six crew members to the fire site.
The model is excellent for fire liquidation and rescue service rendering  in urban areas, settlements, woodlands as well as at industrial facilities.
The vehicle can be used in such conditions due to its functional characteristics that provide the following:

  • - supplying  water from a tank, an open water source or a hydrant  by means of nozzles, a fixed monitor;
  • - supplying fire extinguishing agents from other water sources;
  • - supplying air foam with the intake of foaming agent from the vehicle's foam tank;

Emergency-rescue work rendering with the help of portable emergency rescue equipment.
The car is based on a four-wheel drive chassis and can operate in a temperate climate with an annual temperature difference within ±40°C. Good off-road qualities and excellent cross-country performance allow it to drive easily on rough terrain.
