Short description: 

A water tender AC 5.0 -40  on a chassis KamAZ 43253 is designed for fire extinguishing and rescue works.
It provides the transportation of the fire brigade , fire extinguishing means, fire-fighting equipment and rescue tools.

The advantages of this model: 
  • Water and foam tanks are made of steel, they have anti-corrosion coating that ensures long lasting vehicle operation.
  • It is especially important in the conditions of continuous contact of a firefighting vehicle with moisture.
  • Firefighting equipment compartments are featured with a rigid reinforced frame that guarantees reliable and firm structure of the firefighting bodywork.  
  • The water tender is equipped with an additional crew cabin module.
  • Due to this crew cabin the vehicle has a capacity to deliver seven crew members to the fire site.  
  • The firefighting equipment compartments are equipped with flap doors; the firefighting equipment is arranged and secured in the compartments based on a multi-unit fixation system for the firefighting equipment Multimount that was designed on the basis of polyurethane elastomers.
  • A centrifugal fire pump NCPN-40/100 is mounted in the rear compartment of the vehicle.
  •  It allows to increase the fire-extinguishing agent delivery rate up to 40 liters per second.  
  • Rear ladders with folded bottom step mechanism are made of reliable and firm steel; they are designed for safe climbing to the top of the fire superstructure.
  • A spring-damper fixation mechanism of the fire  superstructure blocks to the chassis ensures flexible and maneuverable  structure of the vehicle significantly decreasing the bodywork  superstructure stress caused by the deforming chassis during the vehicle  movement.
