Specifications
Short description:

A water tender AC 5.0 -40  on a chassis KAMAZ-5350 is intended for rescue works and fire extinguishing.
It provides the transportation of the fire brigade , fire extinguishing means, fire-fighting equipment and rescue tools.

The advantages of this model:
  • The water tank with a capacity of five cubic meters, is made of carbon steel.
  •  If there is a water source nearby, the water intake and fire extinguishing can continue after emptying the tank. The foam tank is reliable and durable since it is made of wear resistant stainless steel.
  • Thanks to this it will serve for a long time if intensively exploited.
  • This vehicle is equipped with a crew cabin that has four seats. It is reliably fixated to the main cabin , forming a common space that allows the fighters to control the situation, to plan their actions on the fire site together.
  • Thanks to an additional cabin, the vehicle can deliver to the fire site a cabin crew of seven people.
  • Functionalmeta doors are installed on the compartments , allowing  not only to quickly close and open the compartments, but and to protect everything during storage and transportation.
  • The firefighting equipment securely fixed in the compartments of the fire superstructure according to Multimount-system.
  • The compartments have a reinforced construction, based on a reliable metal frame.
  • Firefighting equipment on the top of the superstructure, such as cases with suction hoses  are fixed with the help of the single-module fixation system, which ensures compactness, ergonomics and reliability of its storage and transportation.
  • The centrifugal pump NCPN-40/100, located in the rear compartment of the water tender, has a capacity up to 40 litres per second.
  • The ladders for climbing the top of AC 5.0-40 are located in the rear part of the vehicle.
  • They provide a simple and secure access to the firefighting equipment located on the top of the vehicle.
  • Thanks to a special spring-damper mechanism, the fire superstructure is flexibly but  securely attached to the chassis.
  • Such a structure minimizes the stress of the bodywork superstructure caused by the chassis deformity during the vehicle movement.

Description:

A water tender AC 5.0-40  on a chassis KAMAZ-5350 is intended for rescue works and fire extinguishing. It provides the transportation of the fire brigade , fire extinguishing agents, fire-fighting equipment and rescue tools.
If a fire is expanded, the water tender immediately can apply water or foam from a fixed monitor, thus preventing the spread of fire, and then can be set to the water source.
The vehicle is featured with a new arrangement. The water tank is T-shaped, located along and across the chassis, the firefighting equipment compartments are placed on the sides of the tank. This arrangement increases the space available for fire-fighting equipment.
In addition, the side compartments are divided into completely separate modules for the first time.
