Specifications
Short description:

A water tender AC6.0 -40 on a chassis KAMAZ-5350 is designed for fire extinguishing and rescue works.
The vehicle is used for delivery of personnel, fire-extinguishing agents as well as firefighting equipment and emergency rescue tools to the fire site.

The advantages of this model:
  • The water tender AC 6,0-40 on chassis KamAZ passed the necessary certification for conformity to the Technical Regulations for Fire Safety Requirements for this type of vehicles.
  • Combined crew cabins ensure allocation of seven crew members.
  • Here are two modules connected one with another via removable fixators and double-sealing system.
  • The driver's cabin is basic (for water tenders on KamAZ chassis), the second module is a frame structure covered with steel plates.
  • Floor covering is made of corrosion resistant materials with anti-skid features.
  • The crew cabin is equipped with personal breathing protection devices and auxiliary air cylinders.
  • The air heater of  the cabin operates with the same fuel as AC 6,0-40 and ensures the  ambient temperature that is necessary for the crew's operation.
  • A water tank is made of multi-layered composite with heat-insulating foam interlayer, i.e. sandwich.
  • Its corrosion resistance is well known:
  • unlike metal that exhibits rust with time, the composite does not require any patch-up.
  • The total capacity of the water tank is 6000 liters.
  • The walls of the tank are bended.
  • Inside, there are functional partitions (wave absorbers) that decrease sloshing during the movement of the water tender.
  • A foam tank is made of composite that is also highly resistant to corrosion in respect to foam.
  • Its capacity is 360 liters, that is about  6% of the capacity of the water tank.
  • Normal pressure pump is standard: NCPN-40/100 (FPN 10-2400).
  • It is located in the rear compartment.
  • It is located in the rear compartment.
  • The firefighting vehicle (on KamAZ 5350) is equipped with a monitor, suction hose cases and hand ladders located  on the top of the upper structure.
  • Fixation of the triple-section  ladder is equipped with various devices that simplify its removal.
  • The vehicle is equipped with metal ladders for simple access to the top of the water tender.
  • The ladders are fixed in the rear part of the bodywork in a way that does not prevent the climbing to the top no matter if the door is open or closed.
  • Modules with compartments for firefighting equipment are made of aluminum profiles covered with aluminum sheets in accordance with adhesion technologies.
  • Roller shutters of the compartments  are featured with drum-type roll-up systems.
  • The firefighting equipment  is arranged ergonomically and reliably based on principles of prompt  operation and convenience.
  • Inside the rear side compartments, there is an additional firefighting equipment door that holds part of the tools.
  • It is made of aluminum (which reduces the weight of the construction) and is located just outside the door, blinds.
  • Outside, the compartments of the  fire superstructure are featured with independent additional lighting that is necessary for the operation at night.

Description:

A water tender AC 6.0 -40 on a chassis KAMAZ-5350 is designed for fire extinguishing and rescue works. The vehicle is used for delivery of personnel, fire-extinguishing agents as well as firefighting equipment and emergency rescue tools to the fire site.
If a fire is expanded, the water tender immediately can apply water or foam from a fixed monitor, thus preventing the spread of fire, and then can be set to the water source. The water tender has a new design with a" high " superstructure. It was produced according to advanced manufacturing technology.
The chassis KAMAZ has a new restyled cabin  designed in 2015.
