A water tender AC 8,0-40/4 on chassis KamAZ-43118 is designed for delivery of fire-extinguishing agents (water and foam), firefighting equipment, emergency rescue tools and seven crew members to the fire site.

The advantages of this model: 
  • Fire truck is equipped with water tanks with a capacity of 8 cubic meters. This module is made of stainless steel covered with high-quality polymer layer that ensures efficient corrosion protection. Additional strength of the structure and slosh damping is ensured with folded side walls of the tank.  
  • The vehicle is equipped with a foam tank made of high-quality stainless steel and having a capacity of 500 liters.
  • Thanks to excellent characteristics of the material, the foam tank will remain reliable for a long time even in case of intense exploitation.
  •  The foaming agent is kept in the upper part of the pump compartment and the air foam can be delivered instantly if needed.
  • AC 8.0-40/4 is equipped with a high-capacity combined-pressure two-stage pump NCPK-40/100-4/400-V1Т.
  • The pump is mounted in the rear compartment of the vehicle.
  • With high-pressure mode the water consumption is decreased significantly while the efficiency of the pump is still high.
  • Powerful water head quickly brings the flame down preventing the spread of fire.
  • Thus, with high-pressure mode the water is used more efficiently and rationally.
  • With normal-pressure mode the amount of water consumption is large;  moreover, it can damage not only the burning objects but also those  located nearby.

  • The vehicle is equipped with a crew cabin that guarantees delivery of seven men of personnel to the fire site.
  • Communication and action co-ordination between the crew cabin and the main cabin is ensured with a radio station.
  •  The firefighting equipment and emergency rescue tools are secured in the compartments of the fire superstructure in accordance with a Multimount system that ensures their optimal arrangement as well as safe transportation of all of the equipment.
  • With this system all the required firefighting equipment and emergency  rescue tools are fixed compactly, simply and reliably in side  compartments via special customized retainers based on polyurethane elastomers.
  • A piece of equipment can be released in two steps.
  • The retainers are flexible, light, reliable and not prone to corrosion.
  • The firefighting equipment compartments are equipped with flap doors that ensure the firefighting equipment and emergency rescue tool safety during the transportation.
  • Fire superstructure modules are made of steel and fixed to the chassis via spring-damper connections.
  • The fire superstructure is reinforced and strong; it is based on a reliable all-metal frame made of steel profiles and covered with aluminum sheets.
  • The operating area and the firefighting equipment compartments are well-lighted; and the compartment door position can be controlled from the cabin.  It is ensured with a reliable lighting system and special indicators signaling if the doors are opened.

The model is excellent for fire liquidation and rescue service rendering  in cities, settlements, woodlands as well as at industrial facilities.
The application of the vehicle in such conditions is based on its functional characteristics that provide the following:

  • - supplying  water from a tank, an open water source or a hydrant  by means of nozzles, a fixed monitor;
  • - supplying fire extinguishing agents from other water sources;
  • - supplying air foam with the intake of foaming agent from the vehicle's foam tank;
  • - emergency-rescue work rendering with the help of portable emergency rescue equipment.

The vehicle is manufactured on the basis of the all-wheeled chassis and designed for operation in the modern climate with annual temperature difference of ±40°C.
Excellent off-road and cross-country capabilities ensure easy driving even in the most difficult conditions.
